Below is information about our coaching staff. While coaches are assigned
to individual teams, the group works collectively in assisting each other so that the players get the benefit of the combined
experience and input of the coaching staff. All of our team coaches are licensed by the United States Soccer Federation
in order to provide the experience and abilities necessary to help our players achieve their individual and team goals.

Dennis Murrell, Founder Derby City Rossoneri Soccer Dennis has been coaching soccer for 17
years. His previous soccer experience includes serving 6 years as the coaching director for Jefferstown Youth Soccer
Association, two years as the head coach of a high school soccer team, and five years as a select coach. His accomplishments
include leading the '96 DCR team to two consecutive KSSL league championships, the 2011 Divison One championship and
the 2012 Premier championship. Dennis is also the high school girls' basketball coach for the Academy for Individual
Excellence and is a repeat all-star coach for the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association. Dennis holds the USSF "D"
License.  Satko Lunja, Director of Coaching [UEFA A] Satko
has been coaching soccer for over 20 years. He coached in Bosnia and Germany prior to coming to the United States.
He served as a coach assist with Hertha BSC of the Bundesliga [Germany's Premier League]. In the USA, he coached United
FC, Thoroughbreds SC and Bluegrass SC. Satko was also a coach for ODP Kentucky. He is currently a physical education
teacher at Eastern High School, where he first coached the boys and later girls soccer team. He has the UEFA "A"
License, also holds the Higher Sport Coach Diploma in Soccer and a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana University. 
Alex Rendon Alex has coached soccer since 2009. He previously served as the head coach of the 99, 00, 01 Red and 03 girls teams.
He is also the head coach for Academy of Individual Excellence. He is currently the head coach of the 03 girls team.
Alex holds the USSF "D" License.  Quoc Huynh Coach Q previously coached recreational soccer for several seasons at Fern Creek Optimist before
joining DCR. He has previously served as the head coach of the 03 Black team. Coach Q holds the USSF "D"
